SCOOP4C

On 28 November 2017, the two once-only projects SCOOP4C and TOOP held their first joint conference on the once-only principle for citizens and businesses in Berlin.

The Council highlights the once-only principle among its top 10 priorities. It specifically addresses the problem of base registries in Germany - read more about it here.

The EDPS's opinion paper on the Single Digital Gateway discusses the once-only principle and its key issues relating to data protection. In general, the EDPS supports the idea of the once-only principle - under certain conditions.

The Once-Only Principle Project (TOOP) has published its first deliverable to the European Commission that is also open for public access. It gives interesting insights on the situation of the once-only Principle in Europe.

The implementation of the once-only principle can have a big impact in making life easier for citizens and businesses across the EU and could contribute to the Digital Single Market. These are just some of the results of the study on EU-wide OOP.
