On July 1st 2017, Estonia took over the Council of the European Union for the first time. They will focus on digitalization – and on the once-only principle.
The European Commission proposed to establish a Single Digital Gateway that shall serve as a single point of access to public services provided by EU Member States. The new Gateway will rely heavily on the once-only principle (OOP).
