Roadmapping the once-only principle: SCOOP4C Workshop at eGov-CeDEM-ePart 2018

Wed, 18 Jul 2018

During the eGov-CeDEM-ePart Conference 2018 from September 3rd - 5th in Krems, Austria, SCOOP4C will hold a workshop roadmapping the once-only principle.

The SCOOP4C project has investigated scenarios to see how the once-only principle can be implemented in contexts of co-creation and co-production of public services for citizens, with the ultimate objective to contribute to the significant reduction of administrative burden for citizens. The project is now developing a roadmap of actions and policy recommendations for policy makers and implementers of once-only solutions. The workshop aims to deliberate actions to be included in this roadmap. Along the workshop, participants will be introduced to several future cross-border OOP scenarios from different domains (e.g. education, health, social protection) as outlined in the Single Digital Gateway Regulation. We will discuss current gaps, needs and challenges of the individual scenarios in order to develop recommendations for the successful implementation of once-only solutions.
