MyGuichet is a secure interactive platform on guichet.lu. It facilitates online administrative procedures in a safe and secure manner via a “LuxTrust certificate”.
Short summary
MyGuichet is a secure interactive platform on guichet.lu. It facilitates online administrative procedures in a safe and secure manner via a “LuxTrust certificate”. The user completes his form online, signs it electronically, attaches the supporting documents and submits it via MyGuichet. Users should create a secure eSpace on MyGuide to be able to carry our online administrative procedures. All completed forms, supporting documents and personal data for each user are collected in a dedicated secure eSpace which provides the possibility to reuse those information and documents in other administrative procedures and prefill further forms.

In this context, the State Information Technology Centre (CTIE) is implementing a multi-channel communication in order to develop the overall effectiveness of public information systems. The Data Protection Act applies to "data controllers" ("a natural or legal person,
public authority, agency, or any other body which solely or jointly with others determines the purposes and methods of processing personal data") and "data processors" ("any natural or legal person, public authority, administrative body or other entity that processes personal data on behalf of the controller" excluding any of the data controller's employees). The law also created a new data protection authority, the "Commission nationale pour la protection des données" (CNPD) in December 2002. The CNPD is an independent agency
whose task is to regulate the processing of personal data in Luxembourg and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. The Data Protection Act has also provided for an online public data processing register, which makes it possible to check if an authority, company, association, professional, or self-employed worker is likely to hold information about an individual and if they have declared as much to the CNPD.

The 'Processing of Personal Data in the Electronic Communications Sector Act',
which was adopted on July 28th, 2011 and which entered into force on August 1st , 2011, transposes the EU Directive on privacy and electronic communications
(Directive 2009/136/EC) into Luxembourgish law and forms part of Luxembourg’s legislative 'telecom package' (cf. below). It aims at protecting the privacy of Internet users (including protection against unsolicited commercial communications or 'spam') and users of added value services, such as GPS. The National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD), which was created by the 2002 Data Protection Act, is competent for checking the legality of personal data processing.

3. have a global overview of all procedures on a dashboard which indicates their level of progress;
